Braníček Dětský Klub

Braníček Kids Club is a small bilingual learning club in Prague 4 focused on preschool and younger school-age children. At Braníček, we create a calm, safe, and supportive environment where children can be themselves, feel accepted for who they are, play, and naturally develop at their own pace.

Our greatest advantage is our truly small groups of only 4–6 children. This allows us to approach every child individually and create an environment where each child is genuinely seen, heard, and respected.

We focus on respectful communication, wellbeing, and learning through play. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, motivated, and genuinely enjoy learning.

Our first location is in Braník, Prague 4, and is especially convenient for families from Prague 4, Podolí, Braník, Krč, Modřany, and nearby areas. Families from other parts of Prague also join us because they are looking for smaller groups and a more personal approach than in large language schools or overcrowded clubs.

Braníček also includes a bilingual Czech-English mini preschool for younger children, running every Tuesday to Thursday morning. From September 2026, Teddy Eddie lessons for children attending our mini preschool will already be included in the preschool tuition fee.

For children who do not attend the mini preschool, separate English lessons will also be available — mainly on Monday and Friday mornings or in the afternoons.

We chose the licensed Teddy Eddie method because it perfectly matches our approach to working with children. The lessons are playful, natural, and full of movement, stories, games, and communication. Children are not under pressure — instead, they actively participate and connect English with positive emotions and enjoyable experiences.

Our first regular Teddy Eddie courses will officially start in September 2026. During July and August, we are already inviting parents and children to trial lessons where they can experience both the method and the Braníček environment. The founder of Braníček, Zuzana Hrubcová, has more than 15 years of experience working with children — as a teacher in both the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom, the owner of a babysitting agency, and an early childhood educator. She studied Early Years education in the UK and focuses on modern approaches to childcare and bilingual education.

What we value most about Edu Bears methods is their thoughtful structure, high-quality materials, and the fact that children truly enjoy them. For us, it is not only about vocabulary, but mainly about helping children enjoy English and feel confident using it.
